Proven Agronomic Performance

  • Data generated in Saskatchewan in 2013 shows that NRG KS increased overall wheat yield by an average 3.0 bu/ac. Sufficient potassium and sulfur had a direct positive effect on the crop's yield due to stronger cell walls, enhanced synthesis of amino acids and proteins, and vigorous plant growth.

  • NRG KS proved to have a direct positive effect on yield, as seen in the summary of grower trials in 2013, reporting an average increase of 6 bu/ac in Canola. Sufficient potassium is vital as it regulates many essential processes (enzyme activation, photosynthesis, water use efficiency, starch formation and protein synthesis) and aids in protecting a crop against disease, as it increase plant resistance to both biotic and abiotic stress factors.
